Villas De Las Aves are two very private luxury villas for rent nestled on the Large Private Estate, Finca De Las Aves, named after the abundant bird life residing on the property.

The Parrot Haven is a beautiful double room looking into our Parrot Garden with large ensuite bathroom that is available for Bed & Breakfast.

At Villas De Las Aves we aim to soothe your senses with Luxury Accommodation & Superb Cuisine, you can awake to the sound of the jungle, breathe the pure air, relax & revitalize…….. You can do as little or as much as you like, breakfast with the birds, unwind with a book, sip a cocktail in your private Jacuzzi under the stars and watch the fireflies, listen to music or watch a movie, the choice is yours.

We are located on the Southern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica on the Banks of the River Uvita & 10 minutes from the Village of Uvita, close to Dominical. The Marino Ballena National Park is a few minutes away by car, as are some of the most beautiful beaches in the area, where you can walk for miles without bumping into another human being!

Villas De Las Aves bring together the 4 Elements of Nature to make for a magical experience….

Earth….. The Estate comprises 17 acres of rolling pasture interspersed with hardwood and fruit trees, bordered by rainforest. Several acres have been landscaped to create lush tropical gardens, which surround the villas. Planting has been carefully designed using topical flora to attract the local animals, butterflies & birds. We regularly host monkeys, anteaters, & sloths; the giant neon blue Morphus butterfly is a common sight in the early mornings & the bird life is abundant, a local bird watcher recently recorded 30 different species in a 2 hour period.

Air….. The Villas, sitting just above the rivers & only 2 km from the Pacific ocean enjoy breezes for most of the day & the nights are pleasantly fresh & cool.

Water….. The Finca has 200 metres of River Frontage, which provides a beautiful backdrop to the Villas. The Rivers Uvita & Ballena join together right in front of the Villas & there are crystal clear cool swimming holes minutes away along the bank. Two creeks pass through the Estate, which provide a natural animal corridor to the river & in accordance to the practice of Feng Shui, the joining of three waterways within close proximity generates a sense of calm & tranquility that indeed can be felt throughout the grounds.

Fire….. We have created our Fire Element in 3 ways…. In the evenings enjoy your own outdoor log fire while watching the myriad of stars & fire flies from your private Jacuzzi.

Fire up your BBQ & grill some of the local fresh seafood on your private sun deck. Inflame your taste buds at The Chefs Table Restaurant run by the Chef/Owner, Sarah, a Cordon Bleu Master Chef with over 14 years experience on Private Yachts throughout the world. The Restaurant is conveniently located on the Finca with a wonderful view of the river.

We can also arrange a Candlelight Feast on nights the restaurant is closed, which will be delivered for you to enjoy in private on your veranda.
