Bird Watching at Villas de las Aves
We are very lucky to have a vast variety of the native birds living and nesting or passing through the property.
Today our bird list numbers 154 different species most of which have been seen on the Finca or on hikes close by. Considering the total number of birds native to the South Western Zone of Costa Rica numbers 407 species we are very proud to have seen so many right on our door step.
All the following species have been spotted on or around Finca De Las Aves. The list is being continually updated and I would like to gives thanks to Brian & Carolyn Nice and Hugh Brockman for all their help compiling and organising this list.
